The ValkPro+ Galvanised Back Plate (P10°) – 1360mm is a precision-engineered component designed for the ValkPro+ flat-roof solar mounting system by Van der Valk Solar Systems. This back plate provides a fixed 10° tilt angle, optimizing solar panel exposure for maximum energy yield. Designed for portrait-oriented solar panel installations, this back plate is compatible with panels measuring between 1100mm and 1300mm in width. It is suitable for both south-facing and east-west configurations, providing flexibility for different project requirements.
The back plate plays a crucial role in preventing wind uplift and fouling by securely fixing onto the back of the panel. One back plate is required for each panel in the array, ensuring structural stability and wind resistance.
